VW Automobile Enthusiast Doing Their Part In Making Asheville Special
EST 2003, Asheville VeeDub has been repairing all autos in the Western North Carolina Area.
Owner, Chris Stivers, started engine repair in the early 90’s. His first vehicles, a 1974 Super Beetle and a 1970 Westy were his first projects. Quickly a passion and enthusiasm was developed for Volkswagen vehicles, especially for the engines. Chris quickly became a natural mechanically at diagnosing, repairing and modifying automobiles of any kind. In 2003 he opened a full service mechanic shop and began building a team of some of the most qualified technicians in the automotive field. His shop is known for a shop that if you can get the vehicle there, the team will find the problem and fix it. It is a frequently challenged claim to fame in Asheville NC. VeeDub prides itself on friendly professionally service, and wants to be a destination that you can call your mechanic for all your automotive needs.
Additionally Chirs Stivers is a huge part in Western North Carolina car shows. Here is a calander of upcoming shows to check out! Participation is what makes this community work and so unique. As mentioned above, Asheville VeeDub has 3 of these 1948 Greyhound GMC Silversides Buses! There are less than 500 left in the US. Check out this video to see one of the beauties in action. What this person did to their bus is awesome, they made it into a RV style motor home!
